304 304 Not Modified
The resource has not changed since the last request. The browser can use its cached version.
When you'll see it
When a browser or crawler asks whether its cached copy is still fresh, with If-None-Match or If-Modified-Since, and the answer is yes. The server sends no body, and the cached copy is used.
What to check
- That the ETag or Last-Modified value changes when the content does, or visitors keep seeing the old version.
- That the response has no body.
- To force a fresh copy while debugging, reload with the cache disabled in the browser's developer tools.
