How to send large files online
Pingfloat file sharing gives you two ways to share files online — both work from your browser with no desktop software required. Upload a file, choose a sharing mode, and get a link you can send anywhere. Files are stored securely and accessible immediately after upload.
Unlike email, there is no attachment size limit to worry about — large files are uploaded directly and the recipient downloads from a link. To send large files via email, share a Pingfloat link in the email body instead of attaching the file.
Lead capture file sharing
Upload a file and share the link publicly. Before anyone downloads it they must enter their email address — collected automatically and visible on your dashboard. Good for gated content: reports, templates, whitepapers, and design assets. Files stay up permanently until you delete them, and storage is pooled across all your lead files (100 MB on the free plan).
Secure single-use file transfer
Send a file to a specific person via their email address. The recipient gets a notification with a download link — the file can be downloaded once, then it is automatically removed from storage. A reminder is sent if not downloaded within 24 hours, and the file is deleted after 48 hours regardless. The transfer record (recipient email, download date) is kept for your audit trail.
Team file sharing
Both modes support teams. Files uploaded to a team workspace are visible to all team members, and collected lead emails are shared across the team's dashboard. Use teams to manage file sharing across departments or client projects.
