Why convert PNG to PDF?
PNG screenshots, diagrams, and exported charts often need to end up in a PDF for a report, a printed handout, or a form that only accepts PDF uploads. This wraps the image in a single-page PDF sized exactly to match it.
Supported formats
This page defaults to PNG in, PDF out, but the tool itself opens PNG, JPG/JPEG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, SVG, HEIC/HEIF, or PDF, and can convert to PNG, JPG, WEBP, ICO, or PDF — change the output format in the Convert tab any time.
Frequently asked questions
Does PNG transparency survive the PDF conversion?
No — the PDF embeds the image as a JPEG internally, and JPEG has no transparency channel, so any transparent areas get filled in with a solid background instead of staying see-through.
Can I combine several PNGs into one multi-page PDF?
Yes — check "Combine into one PDF" in the bulk convert panel and every image becomes its own page in a single file, in the order you added them.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every conversion and edit happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API and JavaScript. Files never leave your device.
